“Whatever the source and the form it takes, research on the community colleges suffers several limitations stemming from imprecision in the language of the social sciences and from the relationships between researchers and practitioners, who must respond to conflicting mandates” (Cohen, Brawer & Krisker, 2014, pg. 371). There are very little research and updated information on education in the community college. It is hard to find good resources that has all the correct facts and other details that one might be researching or looking for about college tuitions, grade forgiveness and also what can happen to one’s current classes if they owe any money to the school. When it comes to financial aid, one has to know fully what to expect from the school and their rules and regulations on financial. “Armed with a donation from Georgia State's president, Renick tried an experiment: He provided mini grants to nearly 200 students after they were dropped for nonpayment. It worked, helping to bring students back to classes and generating more than $660,000 in tuition and fees for the university that would have otherwise been lost. (Selingo, 2013, para. 6). This was a great idea, by help students who had financial problems, which was stopping them from completing school, the grant help them to complete their course and also increase graduation rate. There should be more programs like this that help support students who are doing well in school to stay in school and complete their degree. If the community college continue to look at the bigger picture they are going to miss all the little details that could easily solve the issues. And this is the reason why research can be in many different forms for example qualitative studies, conduct research, and other different studies. Students are trying their best to rise to the occasion and make a positive difference in their lives and others in the community. If the community college continues to kick-out students who are doing well in school because of tuition fees, the poverty line is going to continue to increase and the economy is going to get
