Introduction:
For the final stock analysis project, I selected American Express Company (AEX) because the stock prices of this enterprise were increasing significantly since I started to monitor it. For this class project, I had to monitor the stock prices three continues weeks. Among many stocks, I decided to look at the financial industry because it is a unique industry with high revenues and high returns. Also, I am currently a consumer of the American Express and I like their customer service a lot. The reason I like their customer service is because they are willing to help with any questions related to credit limit and fees. Once I missed the due date and was charged late fee, but the customer service representative refunded it as a courtesy.

This corporation was initiated in Manhattan, New York in 1850 by Henry Wells, William G. Fargo and John Warren Butterfield. In the beginning years, Amex was started as an express mail company which was known as a join stock corporation after the merging of two successful business owners Henry Wells, William Fargo, and John Warren Butterfield. In 1852, Butterfield and other directors proposed the idea of American Express they wanted to extend these operations to California and from there they enjoyed the business growth in the virtual monopoly world. However, later as the years passed by the company began to expand themselves from the domestic business world to the international market. For example, the first weakness that Amex has is the restricted dissolvability position, the organization may affect its capacity to obtain and refund money which consequently influences its organization operations. Such things can be caused because the company may have constrained critical obligation subsidizing than value. Another weakness that American Express has is the overdependence onto the United States market. For the majority part in the United States market of its revenue, it might be cause a worry to the organization during any political or monetary reason in that specific locale. Even though the corporation has been established in numerous regions such as North America, Middle East, Europe, Australia, Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Caribbean regions, American Express has a significant amount revenue dependency from the United States
