Hell week is defined as the week before finals in which every project, paper, and last minute assignment is due. It brings about a lot of stress for college-aged students across the nation but add in being a leader and the load increases. Now you not only have school work, you have events to go to, events to host, and of course sleep. If I have learned anything in LART 2900 it would be that leaders do not have to be perfect. In fact to be a leader you have to have cracks and breaks in order for the light to shine through. To be honest I thought being in LART would be a waste of time. Week 1 we learned we are not alone. We were introduced to other student leaders and made connections across campus. Week 2 we learned the concept of self-awareness and how their is power in finding the right fit and acknowledging one’s talents/strengths.
