Sitting on my couch late at night home alone I had a gut feeling something bad was going to happen. Ends up I should have trusted my gut. Sitting there while the ground began to shake and the tv shot onto the news. The news said that bombs and shootings we're in Louisburg right before all the power went out and everything was dark. The next violent shake happened again. Off the walls things crashed violently to the floor. I ran under the kitchen table watching my house fall to pieces. Smoke filling my lungs and panic spreading like germs. Next thing I knew the electric wiring made a huge spark before me and the house was up in flames. I was trapped! I saw the door near and I

They can't find us.”
“Who?”
“The Afghanistan army.”
“Huh?”
“Their bombing and shooting all around the U.S.’’
“ We only have few safe areas that we're taking survivors.”
“How can we get to a safe place?’’
“Well thats where we we're taking you, until they bombed the ambulance car.”
“Are we close enough to the safe place?”
“Yeah, but we'll be at risk of giving it up.”
“So what do we do?”
“We can run there and get in through another exit.”
“Ok why aren't we?”
“Because they must have us in view because they just bombed our car. If we try to run for the safe house we could possibly get shot?
“SHO…”
He covered my mouth. “Shhhhh! Do you want to get caught?”
“The only way we can get out of here and make it to the safe hospital is to make a run for it.”
“Where is it?”
“See that little mountain?”
“Yeah?”
“You have to climb that about half way to right there where there's that pile of mini rocks.”
“Ok but how do I get through those?”
“There's a lever that's brown you must pull down and your get into the safe hospital.”
“Ok, When do we go for it?”
“I'm not going so you have to do this on your own! I need to save more survivors.”
“Oh.”
“Now

“Where are they?”
“Well there's an ambulance car of six people coming here with that last name.”
“How long until they will be here?”
“Well we can't be sure but we assume an hour.”
“What?”
“How about you get some rest?”

The woman left and I sat in bed worried. Waiting for the hour to be up. Until sirens started going off and men with guns ran across the hall to the entrance. Where they ran out and guns and missile began to go off while the ground shook. Until all the sound went silent and a big hole opened and a family of six jumped onto the big tarp of air. I realized it was my family! I yelled for them and they all came my way and we exchange our stories of how we survived.

After months of being trapped in the safe underground hospital the U.S. finally won the war and got back our land. Though there were only 700 survivors left in the U.S not counting the army and doctors. The government rebuilt our house and we moved back in. Where the U.S. was safe
