For many years now I have heard many major media sources (NBC, CNN, and FOX) as well as many parents say, “Violent video games make kids aggressive and more likely to become violent”. I don’t believe that at all. I as well as many of the people I know, have all played violent video games since our early childhoods and none of us show any signs of aggression or violent behavior. This is why I have to write about this topic. I want to shed light on a subject that the media for years has painted it black.

In fact it shows just the opposite. He’s first study show that crime rates among adolescents 12-17 years of age has dropped since the interdiction of violent video games. And in he’s second study to question the validity of laboratory studies that suggest a connection between violent video games and violent behavior. He says, “Exposure to only brief clips of media, rather than full narrative experiences provides the opportunity for aggression as if it sanctioned by the researchers themselves” (Ferguson, 2014). We will now take a look at one of the most prominent labotory study that Ferguson calls into
