Overall, I am very satisfied with my group members; each of us has contributed many efforts on the projects assigned with different talent.
With the aspect of the Final Deliverables project, Jiyeon showed her excellent formatting skills when she combined our works to a complete report. In addition, Jiyeon designed the cover page and made the background of the report be consistent with the style of the cover page. After reading the feedback of the proposal, our group decided to adjust our Final Deliverables upon the advice. Jiyeon fixed the format problems after we revised the content.

Young had many excellent ideas, and she was responsible for the final work that we submit. She did the final revision and corrected the grammar mistakes after each of us gave her our part of the work. In the Final Deliverables, she wrote the introduction and conclusion part of this report. As a group leader, she successfully performed her role and gave each of us reasonable tasks. Although I would suggest her to have more communication with group members, she indeed effectively led our group to finish our projects.
In the Final Deliverables project, I worked with Jack to compose the logo part. I cannot give enough credits to Jack for helping me to work on the detailed illustration of the new logo. I had several discussions with Jack before and during the time I wrote down our group’s ideas about the new logo. Therefore, with the discussion with the professional, I had further understanding about Jack’s philosophy about his design and I hope I have conveyed it to the readers. Moreover, I contributed in finding the logo and the name of our group company- Yj Company, which is the initial of Young, Jack, Jiyeon and

The images and words used in this logo enable consumers to understand the meaning; although, improvements can be made to ensure the message is conveyed effectively. The main elements of the logo; a carrot, the world, and text, keep it from being too complicated, however the simplicity almost hinders how well the message is expressed. Without reading into the logo too much, the reader can understand the main idea because of the simple design and layout. “Eating” means to eat fruit and vegetables, which links to the carrot on the side of the logo. “Globally” refers to the actual world, and links to the picture of the Earth at the top.…

For this assignment, my group’s topic was Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and how it is prevalent in the novel, ‘Speak’ by Laurie Hall Anderson. My responsibility was to do the facts and statistics slide and to do the two characters that experienced/influenced PTSD slide. While working on the assignment, I did run into some challenges. The biggest being that it was hard to find facts and statistics on PTSD that were Canadian and relatively recent. I ran into this issue because many websites that I found focused more on America, on worldwide facts and statistics, and the information was quite outdated.…

I faced the internal struggle of being a good group member and being a good student. I struggled with communicating the urgency of completing the project to the rest of the group and not annoying everyone on the group chat. In the end, this challenge was solved by my fellow group members completing (thankfully and barely) before the deadline. If I could do the project over I would be less passive aggressive and talk to my group members about completing the work together to get it done earlier. Looking past all of my complaints and challenges this group assignment proved to be helpful and educational.…

It is common that projects begin with a plan, including time and cost expectations, whether or not the plan is significant enough to have a project manager. No company wants to enter into a project completely blind. Furthermore, even plans that are highly detailed and monitored, ordinarily do get out of scope, and require more stringent controls as the project moves forward. Project managers are continually seeking new and better control techniques to cope with such complexities, masses of data, and tight deadlines that are set forth at the initiation of a project (Kerzner, 2013). Tools have been developed over the years to address such situations, allowing for resolutions of issues, mid-project.…

Individual Reflection Paper As humans, it is within our inborn nature to interact and cooperate with others. This is due to the fact that no one individual is perfect and capable in all ways. We are able to complement each other’s inadequacy through working as a group, hence this is why collective efforts often made things easier as compared to individual effort. While working in groups, we will experience changes in group dynamics and processes.…

Introduction In this reflection, I will focus on some important topics such as, what I learned about individual and business taxation from this course, what was my experience with the group project and what were the challenges that I faced during both the group project and this course. I am also going to add some main overall points that I learned. Tax is generally an amount of money that is charged by a government on a product, income, or activity so that it can pay for public services. In addition, there are several very common types of taxes: • Income Tax (a percentage of individual or corporate earnings filed to the government) • Sales Tax (taxes charged on certain goods and services) • Property Tax (taxes charged on the value of land…
