In the film Edward Scissorhands, the main character Edward has scissors for hands. He was left in an abandoned house after his creator died. A woman named Peg Boggs finds Edward in the home and takes him home with her. She cleans him up and introduces him to her son and husband which Edward quickly becomes friends with. He meets Kim who he instantly is attracted too but she has an overpowering boyfriend who gets in the way. During the middle of the film Edward becomes a hairdresser for the town using his scissor hands. At first Kim has no interest in Edward, but once living with him and seeing his warm heart she begins to fall in love.
