Film Strips History

This is the introduction to the unknown; including cultural history, timeline of 15 years, future goals, symbols, motifs, and quotes summarizing myself. Backstory to the unknown, would be an image of the mexican flag/banner with the words Jalisco written across it. The flag represents my history because Jalisco is from Mexico which is where my parents are from. This has influenced me today because of all the traditional and cultural ways there is in my family. Start of the timeline, is an image of film strips. The film strips reflect the first five years of my life, I use to want to be in the film industry. It has meaning to me because even though I no longer aspire to be apart of the film industry, it’ll always be a part of me. These dogs have changed me today because now i have responsibility for them and I need to learn to be a more responsible and patient person with them. Ahead of my timeline, which would be my future goals, is an image of dollar bills on the sides of my tapestry. The dollar bills reflect my future goals because I hope to be wealthy and stable with money. This has meaning to me because I work hard in school in order to make good money later on in my life in my soon-to-be chosen career. On to images that symbolize my life, those would be a paint board and vampire teeth. A paint board is symbolizing an important part of who I am because i love to draw and always have. This has influenced me today because I can draw during free time or to relieve stress and express myself in art. Vampire teeth which sounds odd, has to do with the history of my name and where it originates from.
