He may not be entirely wrong, but he refuses to mention the idea that maybe they helped revile how superheroes could never actually function in real life. This new idea that they brought to light actually helped to bring superheroes more down to earth. Their insight on the reality of superheroes, in my opinion, actually makes heroes more desirable.
