On march 10 in the PAC, at 7:00, I had the opportunity to be able to go and see The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It was a wonderful paly production, with some raunchy scenes, but, it was a very well orchestrated play, with well casted people and had very smooth transitions even though there wasn’t a curtain. The cast was huge, so great was need for voices that they had to hire a local choir to sing with them. The first scene is when you see the choir coming to and sing and take their place on the “pews.” They stay there for the entirety of the show. Chris place the Archdeacon Frollo and was a very enthusiastic character. His voice was so strong and pure he did very well you could hear and understand every word and phrase he spoke or sung. Frollo is a hamed of the fact that he has to live with his brothers son who he believes is a victim of his fathers sin and since quasimodo is part gypsy he has a hatred for him and he was planning on disposing quasimodo but, he felt that is was wrong because he felt like the saints of Notre Dame were watching him and that the bells would not let him forget it, if he did do this thing. So he raises him in the bell tower and quasimodo grows up ringing the bells and only having connection to Frollo who doesn’t really love him as he should. Frollo hates the day that has come because it's topsy turvy day and that’s when the gypsies are allowed to sing and dance in the square and have fun. This is where Clopin the prince of the gypsies is introduced. Clopin is played by Michael, Michael playes this part very well and was very nasally when he sang which was perfect for his character because the was a slick, con man who stole people’s money when they least expected it. You could hear everything that he said and everything that he sang was for the most part easily understood. He was the one who introduced esmeralda who was played by Olivia. Olivia sang very clearly and had a very nice belt ready when
