Why Groups Form and Identity The film “Identity” by KJ Adams is similar to the article “Why Groups Form” by Dr. Jeremy Dean. In the article it states that our identities are formed through the groups which we belong to. In the film the whole idea of the film is that groups are everything and everyone belongs to one. Towards the end of the article the people being tested say that they were just doing what they thought was right and that they thought they didn't have a choice. This brings out the point that people in the film, could have been wearing their mask just because they thought it was right and it wasn’t all their choice. In the article it brings out points from the film that couldn’t be understood because the film was without words
