Film Analysis: West Side Story

West Side story is a very popular movie of the 1960s. It has won 10 Oscars and is very well known, mainly for its adaptation of the famous Shakespeare play : Romeo and Juliet. However, this movie critique is not going to be comparing Romeo and Juliet to Tony and Maria, the main characters in the movie, it will be analyzing and critiquing the use of the city the movie has been set in : New York
