The overall structure and organization of this movie is really impressive. It starts off with the story being told by the narrator to his sick grandson. The movie The Princess Bride is a fairytale adventure about a young girl and her one true love. The story begins with Buttercup, a young blue eyed girl, that lives on a farm. On the farm there’s Westley, a poor farmboy. Buttercup spends most of her day bossing Westley around ,until she realizes she's in love with Westley. Lucky for her, Westley feels the same way, but he still wants to travel to America to make his fortune. While he's gone Buttercup finds out the Westley has been murdered by the mythical Pirate Roberts. Buttercup sobs and promises never to love again. This adds to the fairy …show more content…
They meet again in attempt to get away from Prince Humperdinck. They run into swamp that no one has ever survived in. The tension between Buttercup, Westley, and Humperdinck makes the story more fascinating. They make it out of the swamp alive, but comes face to face with Humperdinck. Buttercup promises to go back to Humperdinck only if Westley doesn't get hurt. Little does she know, Prince Humperdinck plans to kill her after her the wedding. Fezzik and Inigo reunite in the Florin Thieves Quarters to find the man in black. When Buttercup finds out about Prince Humperdinck's plan he goes to kill Westley on this deadly machine. Westley screams and Fezzik and Inigo hears. They follow the sound of the scream until they find him. When they find him he is mostly dead, so they take him to Miracle Max. Miracle Max gives them this miracle pill for Westley to eat, and it instantly brings him back to life. They then go to find Buttercup before she marries Humperdinck. After the half done wedding Buttercup tried to take her own life, but realizes Westley is behind her laying in the Prince’s bed. Buttercup, Westley, Fezzik, and Inigo ride away on white horses and live happily ever
