Discrimination isn’t only based on skin color, it can also be based on gender and age. In the movie “Of Mice and Men”, a story about two friends, George and Lennie, that have a dream to live on there own farm. When George and Lennie finally find work on a farm, that is where they both see and experience discrimination first hand. The victims of discrimination are Crooks, Curley’s wife, and Candy.

The most evident type of discrimination shown is skin color. Crooks, a black stable buck, is a perfect example of skin color discrimination. He is not allowed to sleep in the same bunk house as the other farm workers and is even prohibited from playing cards with them. His dreams of being equal to those around are continuously being
