The Slum Boy's Brutality As Depicted In The Film '

The film here talks about different cultures from a child who belongs from a favored family, who has never encountered how cruel life can be and a child from a slum who is familiar with the brutality experienced due to a poverty. Whereas when the slum boy takes out a flute, the rich boy drowns its sound by his loud toy-trumpet, when the slum boy switches to a home-made mask and spear,” the rich boy pondering over his unspoken defeat, given that the slum boy gives up trying to be friends with the rich boy and the rich boy seems proud of his victory”

Firstly, the film mocks the idealist notion of kids being only innocent, it also questions whether reality can be the sole way to joy or not. Here it also explains the importance of life and allows the society to question that can only the rich society be allowed to live a happy life and lead all the happiness or is the poor society not given the rights to leave a joyful life and

And when defeated, the slum boy tries to fly a simple kite if in case the rich boy would match his happiness but the rich kid shoots it down with his air rifle. Overpowered and humbled, the slum boy gives up while proud of his victory the rich kid comes back to his lavish room filled with toys and amusement materials. Even though the rich boy wins he seems to be unhappy and sits quietly though he has more toys to play. The rich kids at the end see his robot breaking but decide to sit ideally due to his win that did not last long. To conclude this film talks about two different perception of two different society as well as the level of happiness achieved when a person has all that he needs while the person has nothing with only simple needs.
