The movie I chose for this assignment is Dial M for Murder. Tony is an English professional tennis player whose wife Margot has been having an affair with Mark an American crime-fiction writer. Tony decides to give up tennis after Margot complained about his busy and hectic schedule due to the sport. He soon discovers that Margot had been having an affair when he finds one of the letters Mark sent that Margot failed to burn. Tony started thinking about murdering Margot not only for revenge but also to ensure that his comfortable life would continue after she was dead.

Tony stole the handbag containing the letter and wrote a fake blackmail note requesting 50,000 pounds for the note to be returned. Afraid that her husband would find out she
