This movie tells us a lot, it taught us about fighting and war in general It told us what soldiers had to go through at the young age they were, they had to drop out of school and give up their careers in their normal lives. The movie focuses on the main character whose name is Paul he's a German soldier and it shows us what does soldiers had to go through on a normal basis it showed us how many soldiers died from the most silly mistakes and how many could've survived if they would just follow rules. Paul referred to a part in the movie where he kills in enemy soldier and tells the soldier how they could be brothers but since their government say they must fight they must fight, this shows us how crappy war is, it shows us that all these men
