A Time To Kill: Movie Analysis

A Time to Kill is about two while male that rape a little black girl and her father takes revenge by killing them, is a movie loosely inspired by a true story based on John Grisham 's book. The crime takes place in Mississippi, where a 10 year old named Tonya Hailey is viciously brutalized by two white racist rednecks. Rape, a specific type of sexual assault, involves any forced, manipulated, or coerced penetration of the vagina, anus, or mouth, by a penis or other object (Michael McDonald, 2014). After Tonya is found and rushed to a hospital, the two white males are found at a roadside bar. Tonya 's father, Carl Lee, remembers a case from a year ago, when four white men raped an African American girl in a nearby town, and got acquitted. If Carl Lee was aware of the organizations there are to help victims, he would have never killed the two men and never been in jail, but many people do not know and they should research before making in action. They offer services to rape and sexual assault survivors, including in person help, as well as referrals for resources ranging from medical assistance to counseling, from their staff. These types of organizations can help inform victims their rights and can tell them what will happen their case and they can even help them with their victim impact
