Have you ever had everything you've ever wanted, and then all of a sudden, it just vanishes from you? In my book, "Hush," that is basically what is happening. A young girl who was once named Toswiah, and now Evie, had everything in the world. Now, it's all gone from her. And how do I notice this? Because of all the figurative language this story has. One way of figurative language that I have seen in this book is on page 5, where she states how great her life was, and then says "Gone. It's all gone now." Another word I have seen that is repeated a lot is the word hate. On page 66, where her sister, Anna, says that she "hates this family" and wishes that she "can die." Finally, another repetitive word is die. Death is a huge part in the story
