The theme of the book Night is shown through many, interesting uses of author’s craft. But by looking at the author's craft in the book, I have found that I believe the theme of Night is the author wants to create awareness for the holocaust, and to show/ tell of his personal experience in Auschwitz, and the tragedies he faced on the hard journey he went on, In the form of a novel. the author uses audible craft to achieve his theme, first he says on page 60, “the lolling tongue of death”. This is figurative language, personification. He uses this to describe the feeling of death upon him.
