The Boston Massacre was a fight that broke out between a group of patriots and a group of British soldiers in the streets of Boston on March 5, 1770. The fights began with the patriots throwing snowballs, sticks, rocks, and other things at a British officer Thomas Preston. The patriots continued to attack the officer and also attacked the soldiers which led to the soldiers firing bullets into the crowd. 3 patriots died on the spot and 2 patriots died from wounds later on.
