This quote is tremendously important to remember while fighting for your rights. I am able to relate to this quote because of my religion. Other than spreading love, Islam teaches us that fighting injustice unjustly is unjust. To me this quote means that we should always avoid violence no matter the circumstance. For example, in a war if two countries are treating each other with violence only and have hatred toward each other, then the only result will be more violence. The significance of this quote in contemporary society is crucial because in today’s world, we all know that we should fight for our rights, however a few of us know the correct way. Therefore, the outcome of fighting for your rights with violence is only more hatred and bitterness.
