The liver cirrhosis is still in the early stages so the doctor will only give medications but also warn pt about what will happen id condition worsens.
LIVER CIRRHOSIS- Alcohol causes the liver to get fat and inflamed which causes the liver cirrhosis. Which is when scar tissue replaces normal tissue in the liver. It happens because the liver is having been damaged over a long period of time (pt’s drinking). The scare tissue makes it hard for the blood to go through the veins.
ALCOHOL POSIONING- an overdose of alcohol. Alcohol is a drug and is a depressant because how it slows down a person’s speech, movement and reaction time.
TREATMENT: After breaking the news to the pt the doctor gives pt medications to help the liver cirrhosis. Medications: Diuretic, Ammonia reducer, Beta blocker, Synthetic hormones, Antibiotics, and Antiviral drug. BUT IF THE CONDITION WORSENS THEN A LIVER TRANSPLANT MAY BE NEEDED.
