The fifth pillar of Islam is to make a pilgrimage (Hajj) to Mecca, in Saudi Arabia, at least once in one's lifetime. This pillar is obligatory for every Muslim, male or female, provided that he/she is physically and financially able to do so. Prerequisites for performing the Hajj are to be a Muslim, to be an adult or mature enough, and to have the ability to afford the journey. The reward for the Hajj is that Allah will forgive all your sins since they day that you were born.
Hajj is the best form of worship, as it involves the believer’s sacrifice. On this unique day, millions of Muslims from all over the globe meet one another in Hajj. Regardless of what season there in, pilgrims wear special clothes called Ihram. Ihram are two white garments which forgets differences between wealth, money, and culture. These rites procedures include walking around the Ka’ba (Tawaf), and going between Safa and Marwah, as Hagar, Ibrahim’s wife, did during her search for water for her son Isma'il. Then the pilgrims stand together on mount Arafah and pray for Allah’s forgiveness. The pilgrims also throw stones at a jamarah which represents were shaytaan revealed to prophet Ibrahem. The pilgrimage ends with Eid Al-Adha, which is celebrated by sacrificing a sheep, goat, or a cow, and also by praying slatul Eid.
There are 3 different kinds of hajj. The first kind is of hajj is called Iffraad, which is the normal type of hajj. Second we have quiran which is hajj and ummrah combined and you may not take of your ihram between these 2 pilgrimage ummrah and hajj, and you must slaughter a goat, cow, and sheep. The third, which most people do, is tamttu. In this type of hajj you could break your ihram after completing ummrah and you don’t have to slaughter any of these
