My life changed the year of 2013. An unforgettable experience I had was when I left the only school I´d ever been to. All of my friends were at Conway Christian School, I didn't want to leave, but my older brother did. I left when I finished fifth grade. One of my brothers stayed at CCS (Conway Christian School) and the other, with me, went to public school.…

As an only child growing up in Clarence, Iowa, I at most times found myself playing alone in my backyard or sitting in front of my television, watching whatever we had on VCR. DVD players had already been out for years at that time, but with my father working as a mechanic in some random guy's garage, we could not afford to buy a DVD player. I had to resort to VHS tapes, but at least my mother would take me to the used game store(which also sold VHS tapes and DVDs)every once in a while. I became addicted to owning VHS tapes, even as a six year old boy and honestly, I still am to this day. My favorites were the movies from Tim Burton and the Disney films were my absolute favorites; I just could not get enough of Toy Story and The Lion King.…

It was a terrible feeling of not having someone who can talk to you or inspire you to participate in school clubs but that all changed when second semester arrived. When second semester arrived, I made some friends, friends who tell me to join school clubs so my resume can look as good as a professional.…

What do electives do for your child when you send them to school? NOTHING!!! When you send your kids to school in the morning all they do is there 3 main core classes and then they got to electives. Middle schools today should not make electives a part of a regular school day because it would help kids get better grades, schools would save money on less teachers, and kids wouldn't be as tired in the morning. If I remember correctly, 4th grade was the year when I first wore glasses. I am very nearsighted, so when I first got my glasses I felt relieved, again. Now, when you are a senior in high school you tend to look more into those old photos of yourself and notice how awkward you looked. I had a bit of baby weight on me, and I didn’t know how to smile. But, that did not stop my love for school.…
