Fiesta Grande Reflection
During my three years of being in band I have played many pieces of music, although my favorite has been a song called Fiesta Grande. I was given this song in the 7th grade. The point of learning to play this music piece was to play it for our concert in 7th grade although we didn't get the song completed in time so in 8th grade we played it for our winter concert. The song was energetic. The count was 4/4 and the dynamics were highs and lows. The music made me feel happy and calm inside.
It was a very long process to complete the song. Mr. Evans, My band teacher, would work with individual sections with the different instruments. I had to learn a lot of new higher notes on the trumpet in order to play this song
