I hope this email finds you well. After careful consideration, I have decided to withdraw my application for admission at Hunter College for the Fall Semester. Even though I have not officially withdrawn my application, I am informing you as first hand of my decision so that you can be aware of the reason for my absence today at the orientation. I truly appreciate your offer of fieldwork placement and I apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause you and I am certain that I would receive an excellent social work training at your institution.
