Field Trip Reflective Report

B1. The field trip will take place during the middle & end of the third week. The students will be attending an indoor or outdoor track practice and track meet at Liberty University. The field trip will help the students understand how the olympic games of today are modeled after the games of ancient Greece.

B2. During the track practice the students will have the opportunity to view different types of modern events that takes place at a track meet. The students will be able to ask questions and participate in certain events that take place at a track meet.

During the track meet the students will have the opportunity to view college students participating in modern events. C1. Inquiry based learning will take place during week one. The Inquiry base learning falls

Providing additional support to my ELL students gives them the opportunity to

work collaboratively with their peers and increases student interaction.

The students will be evaluated using a Portfolio Evaluation. The students will put together and keep track of

their own portfolios. Their portfolio will contain daily work samples, journal entries, artwork, and personal-growth

reflection. Portfolio evaluations resemble real-life task & can show how students solve problems, recognize there is

more than one acceptable solution, answer or point of view, recognize the performance as a whole and allow many

forms of representation of knowledge and skills (E. Ross)

Using the portfolio evaluation would allow the teacher to view the students actual work. The outcome can be

used to reflect on their growth and learning of the six week unit lesson plan. The outcome would reflect the

students thinking, strength and needs. This will allow the teacher the opportunity to focus on the student and

support their learning
