Family and Consumer Science professionals purpose is to provide service to others. One of the main goals is to shape and provide a connection between families and their physical environment to help the improvement of family living. Family and Consumer Science provide leadership in shaping societal change. It is my desire to graduate and become a reliable educator that will help families meet their potential and thrive in society. I believe to be a successful family and consumer scientists there must be common core values in place. These values are loyalty, dependability, commitment, compassion, respect, service to others, and environmentalism.
Child Development
The early years of a child`s life is very important to his or her development.
