Hi Mary. How are you? Did your fever wend down? I’ve been thinking there must have been something wrong with your health because you looked a bit sick at the party the other day. I’m relieved to know you didn’t have any serious illness. We all are worried so much about you. Don’t forget to take medicine regularly. Try not to be too hard on you. Everyone loves to see you at the workplace again.

Protest has long been a reaction by people when they feel as if something wrong is being done towards them or people they care about. In the article titled “It was like a fever” written by Francesca Polletta they talk about various protest through time but, one seems to stick out in particular and that is the sit-ins done by college students in Greensboro, North Carolina. In the article they talk about this one so heavily because they say it was unplanned and “it was like a fever everyone wanted to go” this quote was so interesting because of their word choice. When comparing a protest to a fever you truly see the unspoken drive that these people had behind them.…

Title: Virals Author: Kathy Reichs Text type: Novel Name: Sharon Louie I admired the character Victoria Brennan in the novel Virals written by Kathy Reichs because Victoria was a brave character who showed she was willing to risk her life to save others “I’m getting Coop out of here”. Victoria reminds me there is always someone who will put others first rather than themselves in this world. An example of when Victoria was brave was when she decided to save Coop stuck in a ten feet pit by abseiling down with the vines as a harness knowing she could injure herself while doing so. “I dropped to my stomach, grabbed a ropey vine, swung my legs over the rim of the shaft, and braced my feet against the wall.…

Although since we are also sending out an Easter card to accompany these letters, they may be a little shorter than usual. Anyways, I hope this letter finds you good health, even though we were recently made aware that you were feeling a little under the weather. As you may have remembered, the last time I wrote you I mentioned an event by the name of careers and manners.
