Hannah is a 25yo, primigravida, who is currently 28 weeks 4 days. She is obese with a BMI of 36. She has chronic back pain and uses methadone. She is using it off the streets and is attempting to decrease. She was seen for her anatomic survey that was significantly limited on heart views. She is here today to attempt to complete the fetal anatomical survey.
On ultrasound there is a live fetus in breech presentation. Fetal biometry is consistent with dates. A limited survey was unremarkable but again due to fetal position and maternal body habitus we were unable to adequately visualize cardiac views.
I explained the findings of today’s scan. Unfortunately we are still unable to clear cardiac views. I will attempt one more time in 4
