Today, we take fire for granted. We never really think about using it, but the people of the fertile crescent did. One innovation that started in the Fertile Crescent and spread through Eurasia was the ability to use fire well. Once there was a surplus of food, specialists could work. The innovation of using fire helped these people advance greatly. They were able to use fire of 1000 degrees to make plaster for their walls. Furthermore, it lead to the molding of steel which is a very big achievement that help civilizations enormously.
