The movie is set in Chicago where a high school senior, Ferris Bueller, acts sick in order to stay home. Throughout the movie, Ferris frequently breaks the fourth wall and gives advice to the audience. Using a computer, he changes the school's records to say that he was gone only two days rather than nine.
