A significant reason the federal government has taken such a stance on a greater involvement in assisting the enforcement of child support orders, is due to such a high number of children who live in poverty, or the overall number of children needing support from noncustodial parents. Collaborative efforts between the federal and state governments work to accomplish numerous objectives: locate absent parents, establish paternity, establish support orders, review, modify, collect, and distribute support, ensure medical support, and enforcement of support orders that cross-jurisdictional lines. Non-paying parents have gone to great lengths in attempts to avoid their obligation to pay support for their minor children. Some may believe that by moving to another state, it would be easier to run from their responsibilities. The Uniform Interstate Family Support Act [UIFSA] provides provisions for courts located in the jurisdiction with which the custodial parent resides, to maintain jurisdiction in instances where the noncustodial parent resides in another state.…
I decided to run for President in 1984 because I could no longer stand this administration's anti-family policies. Over the course of 2 1/2 years we've seen unemployment increase, unions weakened, no raise in the minimum wage, an arms race and tragedy in Lebanon and Grenada. President Reagan has clearly failed as President and we must oust him out of the White House in 1984.…
In my recent role, I was required to possess a thorough understanding of several legislative processes. Firstly, Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) how it impacts on the organisation and the staff regarding the collection, storage, use and disclose any personal information about individuals. Secondly, National Standards for Disability Services and the six areas they pertain to when preparing care plans. It is a requirement of my role to thoroughly understand and interpret the relevant Acts and legislation and to understand the organisations under the relevant legislation. I discussed with the coordinator to ensure their understanding and complied with obligations outlined in the legislation.…
According to Bachman & Schutt (2014): Research should expose participants to no more than minimal risk of personal harm, researchers should fully disclose the purposes of their research, participation in research should be voluntary, and therefore subjects must give their informed consent to participate in the research, and confidentiality must be maintained for individual research participants unless it is voluntarily and explicitly waived. (p. 60) Although Dr. Coswalt protects the research participants from no more than a minimal risk of personal harm, the research scenario still violates three of these principles. Dr. Coswalt has failed to fully disclose the purpose of her research to the participants and their guardians. Dr. Coswalt and the participating schools mistakenly believed that the students and guardians should not be informed of the study, so that students would not change their behavior, a term known as the “Hawthorne effect” (Bachman & Schutt, 2014, p. 192).…
The issue regarding privacy is broad and complex. Certain liberties can render a society divided upon either side of any privacy argument. However, when it comes to children's privacy, the general populace tends to differ drastically and complicate matters. Issues regarding children’s safety in the internet are conveyed as currently being flawed and in need of a particular enforcement.…

According to the United Nations, privacy is basic human right that should be protected by law. The United States Constitution also implies a right to privacy in the Fourth Amendment. Recent laws passed by the government have raised questions about whether the government’s actions infringe upon a citizen’s right to privacy. The USA Patriot Act was the first of many laws that increased the powers of government organizations such as the NSA and the FBI. The law allowed these agencies to access private records of US citizens without the need of a warrant or judge’s consent.…
