For example foods such as grapes,berries, corn, rice, and potatoes, can be used to turn it into beverages such as beer orwine. Ways in which this experiment can be improved is to make sure the boiling rate isnot too high. If the boiling rate is too high then the column would be filled with too muchliquid, and ethanol might be heated right away and thus lose product. Another way is tomake sure that no oxygen enters during the fermentation process, or else other by-products can be included. Adding more steel wool to separate the alcohol and water canincrease the efficiency of the column and thus help better the experiment.Conclusion:By using fermentation, ethanol was successfully produced from
