Splash! The sound of Ferdinand Magellan’s five ships sailing across the ocean to find a Westward route to Moluccas. Jacques Cousteau explored ‘’under the sea, under the sea…. Darling it's better down where it's wetter take it from me.’’ Jacques Cousteau was famous for allowing him and many others to explore underwater. He made this possible because he invented the Aqualung the first self contained underwater breathing equipment.

Ferdinand Magellan was born on October 12, 1492 in Southern Spain.’’ Ferdinand Magellan was best known as the first person to travel completely around the globe.’’ He traveled from 1519 to 1522. ‘’He faced many hardships such as weather, pirates, fighting, and more.’’ He faced these hardships out on the ocean. One similarity they had is that the both sailed to search for money and information. One difference that they have is Ferdinand Magellan searched to find a route to Moluccas. Jacques Cousteau searched to find a sea passage to the East Indies through North America. One more difference is that Ferdinand Magellan traveled from 1519 to 1522 and Jacques Cousteau traveled from 1951 to 1996. I think that these two explorers are very inspiring because Jacques Cousteau invented helpful things so I can learn from him and Ferdinand Magellan traveled completely around the globe so that encourages me to explore and
