Feral Pigs are invasive species that come from another land and are brought in someway. They are very ferocious species that are used for many things.

The Feral Pig originated in Europe and Asia. They were domesticated 8000 to 10000 years ago. They were brought to the Hawaiian islands in 700 A.D. And we're brought to America by Hernando de Soto to use as a traveling food source. Hernando de Souto brought 700 pigs into Texas in 1542.

Feral pigs affect native plant communities. Landowners face many challenges with the feral pigs around. The feral pigs are burdens to these landowners because they have to deal with their destructive feeding and wallowing habits that cost damage to pastures and
