Feral Creature Narrative Essay

Great Essays

Dad picks me up and starts sprinting. The car rams into other cars of a nearby train, which falls and blocks our path. All 3 of us were trapped under a train full of zombies. The windows of the train threaten to collapse at any moment. Dad finds an opening under the train and begins to climb under it, but a part of the train collapses and seals 3/4 of the hole. Before I can make it through, the impact also shattered a window. A small group of zombies tumble out and crawl towards the strange guy, “you go, I’ll hold them up’’ he said and I escapes just in time. We both ran to this abandoned engine, where we find a milky-eyed, pearlish-pale, half infected conductor…the infection has not reached his brain. The conductor slowly approaches my dad, only a sliding door dividing both of them. He starts begging Dad to take him to Beijing. He shows us his address and the name of his mother. Dad tries to explain to him tells him that he is infected and the conductor has a momentary shock, he weeps, but within seconds, he is fully turned. Suddenly I see sees zombies approaching me. I made a stupid choice and screamed, which also attracted the conductor and he attempts to attack me. The conductor strikes me, but luckily dad

Population and community-level impacts of feral cats on native fauna have been little studied, but evidence from several studies indicates that direct predation is the most important process involved (reference). Nevertheless, a study was conducted on the stomach contents of 390 feral felines in central Australia, between 1990 and 1994, in the Northern Territory. Felines victualed on a variety of invertebrates, reptiles, birds and mammals, including animals up to their own body mass in size. Mammals were the most consequential prey but reptiles were customarily eaten in summer and birds were consequential in winter. Invertebrates were present in the diet of all seasons.…

The word feral is defined as something wild. When we think about the word wild, we tend to think of something that is untamed, or not cultivated. A feral child, on the other hand, is a label for those human children who grew up in isolation, and had no human contact from a very young age. These children are seen being raised up by animals because they were left abandoned and as a result, they have little or no experience of human care, behavior, or of human language. Many assume that writers and other people with vivid imaginations make up fictional stories about children raised by animals, unfortunately; indeed it is a fact in history that these children exist.…
