Feral Cats Effects On The Environment

Decent Essays
The mass killing of rabbits was sad. However, accidental kills of deers and cats upsets me. These feral cats could've been the predators of the rabbits that control the population. Due to the accidental killings of the cats, the ecosystem will be unbalanced. Rabbits will be continually eating food on the island. In addition, feral cats are not the outcomes of large population growth. Therefore, killing feral cats could bring negative effects to the environment. Although, feral cats contain rabies and diseases, but killing feral cats will allow rabbits to have more offsprings in a year.
