Because I am an extremely sensitive person the way that I feel in the presence of people has value, equal interactions are an important aspect of positive and meaningful relationships to me. When I met with the counsellor, I would carefully evaluate my feelings; whether I felt at ease or anxious, if our conversation and interactions felt equal or I felt under confident or intimidated, and whether I felt safe to share my concerns or felt the need to choose my words carefully.
