In addition, there are three different waves that happened in different time eras. The main difference between the waves were the age and generation. Although each wave had its own unique belief system, each wave made society more aware about the rights for women. The first wave was not diverse and it focused on political issues and conquered issues with women that were married. Women that were never married continued with issues until the second wave. The second wave was when women from around the world with different backgrounds began to come together because of similar issues. Also, the second wave resolved many issues that did not pertain just women, but the young, poor, minorities, and people who needed health care. The third wave is the modernized version of feminism and celebrates the acceptance of being a woman. Many third wave feminists describe themselves as strong, beautiful, and smart women. Feminism mainly covers the mental aspects of women until the third wave made it a physical and mental aspect. Recently, feminism has become more common and acknowledged to society because of the third wave. Feminist were divided upon age range and income level, but they came together because it was a woman 's issue that had to be conquered. Actions of the movements mainly came into place during the second wave. In result, women called themselves “third world women” and it is amazing to see how women all around the world went through similar issues. Not only did the women 's movements help to seek reliance on the behalf of women, but other issues were included as well. The feminist population was mainly middle class women that were not married and they had the most problems in finding careers because, no regulations were made for them. It amazes me how much time and effort were put forth for women to have a voice in society and how times are different nowadays. I learned that first and second wave feminists would not say there is an exact definition of the word, but it was a movement empowered by women, but not just for women. The movement was powerful and unique because, it helped many races, income levels, and other issues resolved in a
