My visual argument consists of two images. On the first image, a woman and a man are portrayed on a balance, the woman being on a higher level than the man. Today, many women and men use feminism to suppress the opposite sex. What many people do not know is that the feminist movement is about achieving equality among everyone; not about devaluing others, as depicted in the first image. This is the motive why I enclosed the first image with a red colored line; to let my audience know that that perspective is not the right definition.
Moreover, I chose to represent equality among everyone by illustrating a balance where the two commonly known gender symbols are put at an equal level on it. Nowadays, there is a different gender diversity than before when sex symbols were colored blue and pink. This is why I chose to color both signs in a more neutral shade, gray.
