This definition states that “feminism is the theory of political, economic, and social equality of the sexes” (Feminists Can Be Pro-Family). Feminists are not trying to have women rule the world; it is not the objective to undermine the significant role that men play in our world, but it is more to add that women can also have a significant role in our world in the same positions as men. In reality, most feminists provoke the existence of a healthy and cheerful family lifestyle. Feminism may not promote the strict and traditional family lifestyle that Pro-Family movements promote, but feminists do not believe in destroying families. They respect that voluminous sums of women still rather be a full time mother than a CEO of a vast corporation. It is understood that many may feel strongly that being a mother is a woman’s main job; feminism wants the woman who do not believe that to know that it is okay not to want to be a full time mother. But, when woman are a part of a family, feminists believe that a family should have shared responsibilities; a father and a mother are both equally valuable in the development of a child. Therefore, a mother should not be held as the sole provider for a child as they are growing up. A father plays a role in a child’s development that is just as influential as a mother’s. Thus, feminism is actually attempting to promote a more positive and beneficial family life for the child and the
