Females Have It Harder

Is It Harder Being a Female? Is it harder being a female, is a question numerous people argue about. A multitude of people, believe that females have it easy, while others disagree and believe that they actually have it harder. Having my own evidence and reading a article, I am one of the people who believe that females have it harder. First, I will show you a few examples from an informative article, then i will move on to my experiences. In a New York Times article by Michael Gonar, it states the teenage female is less satisfied with her body and looks. The root of this is the toxic effect of social media, it causes females to have anxiety about their figure and appearance. Another fact ,the article states, is females are more likely to be hyper achieving and anxious. On the other hand, a male may be more laid-back and less achieving. In a case Leonard Sax once had, a straight-A student , whom had many friends and was an athlete was having trouble sleeping. When a female reaches puberty, there are differences from when a male reaches puberty. While males have to worry about, facial hair and hormones, females have a more to worry about. A female goes through a tougher time getting a job than a male. An example of this is, how many people see females as less intelligent than males. As a result of this, most recruiters will read a males resume before a females. Although, females may have started getting an education way after men, most females are more intelligent. Another harder being a female is, being pregnant and giving birth. Females go through several obstacles during their pregnancy, such as abdomen pains, back pains, and swelling of the body. Pregnancy and puberty is difficult for all girls, some more than others, and that’s my evidence of why it is harder being a
