This is a generalization spurred on by social media, especially because many of the instances seen in videos of wild classrooms and insubordinate children in those classes is spotlighted all over social media platforms such as twitter or instagram. While the majority of these videos of wild classrooms do appear to have female teachers, social media tends to highlight the worst of these cases while in reality the majority of classes conducted by female teachers tend to be much more controlled or more typical of how a classroom should be in general. In an interview Christina Huber, a John Adams Elementary School teacher stated that she had hardly ever had any problems with controlling her classes even when compared to other male teachers. Furthermore, this reinforces that female teachers hold just as much authority over a class as their male counterparts and the insubordination of students is more based on the students in the class than the teacher of the
