All coaches have different ways of motivating a team of boys compared to a team of girls. While coaches can come up with a way to motivate both genders, boys and girls need separate locker rooms, resulting in the coach struggling to give a half-time pep-talk. People who believe there should be co-ed teams think that making them play on separate teams goes against everyone having equal rights, but this is not the case. Both genders can play every sport, they should just play on separate teams. Parents may say that it is easier to watch their children when they play on the same team. Nevertheless, even though this may be true, the parents would risk their child having less playing time. Even though girls play on boys teams more and more often, this should not be the case. Both genders being on the same team can negatively affect how the person gets better at the sport, playing time, and the team's coaching method.Co-ed team members can get injured more often and become easily distracted by other teammates.
