According to the article, “Heeding the Call” by Diana Childress, when Dr. Martin Luther King was a younger, society was very different then it is now, but without ML it would still be like it was when he was a child. Desegregation is something we should all be happy about, and thankful that he pushed himself to help the community. The injustices that ML faced as he was growing up made him want to repair the society. Martin Luther King was ML’s dad, and represented that standing up for you and others can be beneficial.
