In the book the Feed something terrible is happening to a girl named Violet. I have a theory that Violet is going insane. First the dad and also Titus said that because of the malfunction she may be going insane. Second she was saying she wants to do all these exiting things that she said randomly and in a way where she was acting strangely. Third she may be going insane because she got her feed when she was 6 not when she was a baby.

The dad and Titus state that she may be going insane because of the malfunction. He states that in paragraph 37 where he said I wasn’t really wanting to think about us crushed together right then, or about us in a big group, where she might go insane again.
