Six out of ten will stick to the lifestyle their parents gave them, or grew up around because that’s all they know. As I said before, everything starts at home. If a child is brought up in a bad environment around people doing bad things, they will think it is okay to do that. A good role model, has a good impact on the child, but if all they have is a bad role model, then most likely they will do worse things. Unless someone comes along and be a good influence to the child, well the child will do worse things. Why? Because that is all the child knows. “Individuals who work hard, avoid pitfalls, and make responsible choices greatly improve their odds of success.” Yes, the background and where a person comes from can be the result of their behavior, but if someone wants to be successful, they will try to do better than what they grew up from. Everyone wants to be successful, make money, live in a beautiful house with a beautiful family and etc. The only way all of this will have is if the individual works hard and never give up. They will look back on their life and think, “Is this how I want to spend the rest of my life? A low life? No money? Broke down houses?” Nine out of ten the answer to that is no. A good and stress free life is the key. “If individuals graduate from high school, work full time, and wait until they’re married and over 21 to become parents, they have a very good chance of joining the middle class.” This quote is partly true, but I don’t think everyone should settle for just being middle class aka “average.” Throughout the years of high school are the times when a student can think about what they want or going to be after they graduate.
