In simpler terms, when people think about sharks, they tend to be afraid or worried because they are responding to feelings. Instead of thinking more objectively, they think emotionally first because it is the natural thing to do. It’s your instincts. This feeling may have been introduced to you through the way you were raised. As a child, when you spend the day at the beach, you may hear from your parents or loved ones, “Hey watch out for sharks!” or “Don’t go too deep, the sharks might eat you!” these warnings tend to stick for the rest of your life, building a fear of sharks without knowing any factual information about them. A child is very gullible, therefore fears are created by a variety of things especially out of things that can eat
